KIM'S FUND

Kim’s Fund was created to support ground-breaking research that will one day rid the world of leukemia. Initially organized by Kim when she was a patient at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, the Fund continued in her memory following her death to fulfill Kim's dream of a world without cancer. Kim’s Fund has now reached its original goal of assets with the market value of $1 million. The Fund, which continues to grow, will go on supporting research on leukemia and other cancers and helping needy patients who are undergoing treatment for leukemia.

ABOUT THE
FUND

Just before Kim’s bone marrow transplant, three of Kim’s good friends in New York planned an event to raise money for Kim and her fiancé to take a vacation following treatment. When Kim learned of their plans, she requested that any money raised be donated to M. D. Anderson for leukemia research.
